If you are using the free version, SlapNote does not collect your notes or account data. Notes and metadata stay stored locally in the browser.
If you are using Pro, we collect the email address used for purchase plus the notes, related metadata, browser name, and device name required to provide sync and license verification.
2. How we use your information
Collected Pro data is used only to verify licenses, sync your notes across devices, and support the cloud features you have chosen to use.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data for marketing or model training.
3. Data security
Data stored on our servers is encrypted at rest using AES-256. The decryption key is stored securely and is not transmitted over the network.
We do not access your data without explicit consent unless required by law.
4. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated over time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
